TEPA’s Board of Directors attend the Press conference : Ignite Finance Transforming Thailand to Global Financial Hub

Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance delivered the keynote address at the event, and Mr.Paopoom Rojanasakul Deputy Minister of Finance presented vision statement.

The Thai E-Payment Trade Association (TEPA) and the Board of Directors of TEPA (BoDs) led by the Chairman of TEPA (Ms.Monsinee  Nakapanant) were invited to attend the press conference for the launch of the Financial Hub project under the theme of “Ignite Finance: Thailand’s Vision for a Global Financial Hub” initiative under the “Ignite Thailand” concept.  This event was organized by the Ministry of Finance, held on Friday 19th July 2024 at the Kampan Thong Room, 150th Anniversary Building Ministry of Finance, and was presided over by the Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin who announced the Financial Hub project’s direction and elaborated Thailand’s long-term economic and social development.

The attendees included high-level government officials of the Ministry of Finance (MOF), the Bank of Thailand (BOT), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Office of Insurance Commission as well as the domestic and international financial institutions and the medias.
