ABOUT TEPA

THAI E-PAYMENT TRADE ASSOCIATION (TEPA)

The TEPA, a non-profit organization (NPO), was registered on the 5th of February 2016 endorsed by the Bank of Thailand (BoT) in order for Nonbanks to jointly build a constructive community where issues of concerns can be discussed openly and freely as well as to have a central organization to represent Nonbanks for all. Our main objectives are as follows :

1. To promote the electronic payment (e-payment) services and businesses of Nonbanks as well as to provide academic support to TEPA members.
2. To monitor the movements of domestic and international markets related to TEPA members’ products and services in order to help promoting their businesses both domestically and internationally.
3. To aggregate statistics/information and conduct academic research regarding TEPA members’ businesses for the purposes of exchanging and disseminating academic knowledge assets and related information for their common interest academically.
4.To be the central organization of Nonbanks and its center of communications for helping each other and maintain good fellowship amongst members.
5. To conduct agreements and/or set code of conducts, rules, norms, terms & conditions for TEPA members to comply or refrain from conducting, in order to self-regulate and enhance the organizational good image of TEPA.
6. To represent Nonbanks with the government agencies, organizations, associations, foundations, in order not only to promote but also to support various cooperations for the benefits of society and Thai nation as a whole.
7. No purpose of setup a billiard table and not relevant to gambling and funeral services.
