VISION / MISSION

Vision

– To encourage e-payment businesses in Thailand and provide academic support to TEPA members for their mutual benefits.
– To promote and support various cooperations with government agencies, other organizations, associations, foundations etc. for the benefits of society and Thai nation.
– To be the central organization of Nonbanks and its center of communications, and assist with the negotiations regarding TEPA member’s businesses both amongst members and/or between members and non-members.
– To conduct agreements, set code of conducts, rules, norms, terms & conditions for TEPA members to comply or refrain from conducting (self-regulate), in order to build good governance with transparency, equality, inclusiveness and thoroughly sharing for best practices of members’ businesses based on good ethics.

Mission

(1) To encourage constructive cooperations amongst e-payment Nonbank service providers as well as promote the usage of Digital Payment focusing on user experiences as our priority.
(2) To boost cooperations among TEPA members and key stakeholders including government agencies by aggregating, identifying and addressing common concerns/obstacles and represent Nonbanks in Thailand with the regulatory bodies such as the Bank of Thailand, the Anti-Money Laundering Office, the Revenue Department, the Ministry of Finance, including co-founding and increasing capital in the National Digital ID Co., Ltd. (NDID) etc..
(3) To drive and issue guidelines for the best practice of good governance in Nonbank’s e-payment service and amongst TEPA members (self-regulate) e.g. jointly drafting and set e-KYC, KYM/KYB standards with government agencies in accrodance with TEPA members’ types of businesses, urging to conduct consolidated list of black-listed agents and jointly exchange good practices of risk and fraud among TEPA members, as well as encouraging to jointly standardize Thai Standard QR Code – Tag ID 39 for all Nonbanks including usage guidelines of QR Tag39 with fair terms for TEPA members in compliance within TEPA’s agreement and related government agencies etc..
